What do the PTRS payment-time bands mean?

Quick answer

The Payment Times Report shows the percentage of invoices paid within 0–30 days, 31–60 days and more than 60 days.

What does this mean?

The Regulator requires reporting entities to calculate the percentage of the number of invoices falling into each of the three payment-time bands. The three percentages should total 100%, with a small allowance for rounding.

Practical point

These bands describe how payments are distributed across broad time ranges. They are different from P95, which identifies the payment-time value within which 95% of relevant payments were made.
